History of Sarnia Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade
“This year 2017 Parade, December 2nd”
Created by the Kinsmen Club of Sarnia 35 years ago and has become an Annual Event enjoyed by thousands of local citizens as well as hundreds of visitors from the US as well as visitors to the city from across our province.
The local Kinsmen are again ready to present the 2017 edition telling “The Christmas Story”.
In order to present this each year your local Kinsmen and their fund raising events help to bring this event to you. Without the financial support of our local Industries, businesses and you the public citizens of Sarnia, the parade would not happen.
Thousands of dollars are required to finance travel costs of 4 large high school bands. Parade viewers look forward to the Christmas Music provided by these bands.
The parade, which is December 2nd, leaves Exmouth St. at 6pm and heads towards our down town heading south along Christina St. arriving at City Hall at 6:30 and by the Library at 7pm.
Oh yes “Santa” will be riding through the streets of Sarnia in his brand new sleigh adorned with thousands of LED lights. The Sleigh will be led by Rudolph with his Bright Shiny Nose and 8 Prancing Reindeer!
